Re-visiting Old Photos

I (Sian) have only had my digital camera for about a year, before that if I wanted to take a photo I had to filtch my husband's one (with or without his permission!).  One morning about 3 or 4 years ago I went upstairs to make the bed when I found all four of my cats asleep on the bed at the same time.  I took a photo as it was an extremely rare occurance to see all four anywhere near each other. I then promptly forgot all about having taken it as it went on to my husband's computer.

Since then, having by now discovered orbs and after a suggestion by Jackie, I went through all the old photos to see if I could spot any orbs which might have been on them and not noticed at the time. This was the only orb I found:

I can only think that the orb must also have enjoyed seeing all the cats together and happy. It is a beautiful one, with green and pink in it and with a very distinctive centre.

I lost two of my cats earlier this year and this is a very precious pic. The Orb makes it extra special too.

I certainly think it is worth looking through old photos and seeing if you can spot some orbs, now that you have heightened awareness of them.

Jake's Orbs

Orbs seem to be interested in animals and often appear in photos Jackie takes of her dog Jake. Jackie is sure that he can see them. He has kennel cough at the moment and is feeling sorry for himself. Please see pics above.  Do the orbs know he is ill and have come to visit or look after him?

Healing Orb

Here is a picture of Jackie having some healing from another member of the Reiki circle, Jo. As you can see there is an orb by Jo's hands. It is, presumably, helping with the healing. I don't think you are able to see it in the photo, you would have to be able to zoom in, but there is another tiny orb on Jackie's shoulder, again helping the healing process.

An extra dog?

Jackie spent a long weekend away with family, friends and two dogs in the chapel of a beautiful restored medieval manor.

She took the first photo of her granddaughter and her dog, Jake, looking at something in Jake's travelling cage.

The above photo shows an orb and if you look at the close up in the photo below, highlighted in paint shop, you may be able to see the face of a dog. The aura of the orb is red, which some believe means anger or frustration. Had the "orb dog", in life, been shut up and was upset at seeing a cage?



However, he seemed friendly during our stay. Several of the party noticed something going past, out of the corner of their eye, or felt something brush past their legs. Jackie returned one evening at dusk, having taken the dogs out and took a photo of the chapel. Was the beautiful orb at the door the "orb dog" awaiting their return. Please see pic below.



Jackie took lots of photos during her stay and most had orbs. She had had a wonderful time and as she left she said "Thank you" and took her final picture. See below. She felt the three orbs were wishing her well and saying goodbye.

Walk in the Woods

During an unexpected fall of snow in October 2008 we took Jackie's dog for a walk in the local bluebell woods. We took this photo and when we saw it on the computer a beautiful turquoise orb showed up.

Was this a protective orb as Sian was still in a splint from a broken arm? Or was it having fun with Jackie's dog, Jake, as he was so happy frolicking in the snow? We think the latter as turquoise, as some researchers say, means amusement.

First Ever Pic

A few days later after first learning about orbs, Jackie and I brought up the subject at our next Reiki Circle meeting. We invited the orbs to show themselves and we were amazed and excited to see that we had managed to capture a few. The photo you see above is one that someone else took. She caught a glimpse of movement above Jackie and myself and caught them on camera.

You can see quite clearly 2 orbs above our heads. One appears to be pink and quite large and the other smaller and whiter.

I will be posting more from this evening at a later date, but this photo, and the others taken that night, really whetted Jackie's and my appetite and we decided we wanted to investigate and photograph orbs in much greater detail.

Beginnings

Over the past 2 or 3 years I and my friend Jackie have taken loads of orb pics. This blog will be photo heavy and word light. I will be sharing with you some of my favourite pics and the circumstances when they were taken. I will leave the "what's" and "why's" of what they are for others more qualified to explain.

For what it's worth, I think they are spirits, but please feel free to disagree or bring forth other explanations. Diana Cooper for one says they are angels, unicorns, or elementals etc.

This blog is for sharing these amazing pics. BUT please note that copyright is held by myself and Jackie. If you ask you will probably be given permission to use them but if you don't ask I shall not be pleased. Doom and bad karma will follow you.

As you can see from the side bar I am retired complementary therapist and Reiki Master and I used to run a Reiki circle for other practitioners. We used to discuss other related topics as well as doing healing sessions. I was always scouting for new subjects to discuss. A very long and interesting article appeared in a weekend Daily Mail about orbs and my interest was immediately piqued. A few days later Jackie, who was a member of the Reiki circle, came up to me and said she might have found something of interest for us to discuss at the next meeting. Yes, you've guessed it - her something was the self-same article about orbs! Talk about coincidence: or was it. She, like me was fascinated and wanted to experiment. What happened at the subsequent meeting will be for the next post.
